Villa Finale’s Advisory Board

On Wednesday, I attended a luncheon for Edith McAllister, a Villa Finale Advisory Board member.  She received the Humanitarian Award from National Jewish Health, a hospital in Denver.  Hearing about all of her remarkable achievements got me thinking about our Advisory Board members.  I am in awe that all of these incredibly talented and busy people are willing to give their time and energy to our historic site.  When thinking about museum volunteers, it’s easy to recognize the front-line volunteers, but the members of our Advisory Board really are (to make a Wizard of Oz reference!) the men and women behind the curtain, making it all happen.  They are invaluable, and I know we couldn’t do it without them.  Thank you to them all!
